Kari Sam Wuhrer, born April 28, 1968 is an American actor and singer. Wuhrer's career began as she was still a teenager. Her most notable role is Maggie Beckett, an actress in Sliders; and Sheriff Samantha Parker from the horror comedy Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer is the daughter Karin Noble (nee Noble) working as a payroll accountant and German American Andrew Wuhrer (a car dealer and police officer). She is the mother of three siblings and brothers. She was a teenage singer who performed in clubs, escaping from home for the sake of performing. Kari Samantha Wuhrer is an American model and actress was born in Brookfield, CT, on April 28, 1967. Her birth date was April 28 on the 28th of April in Brookfield Connecticut. Her father is both a German American policeman as well as a salesperson for autos. Kari is the youngest of three children. When she was just a teen, Kari would perform in clubs by going away from home. Kari began studying acting when she was just 13 years old. Her next stage of study was acting at the Tisch School of the Arts located at New York University and Columbia University. Marymount Manhattan College, as well as at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, together with Uta Hagen who was a famous instructor. Kari began acting when she was a teenager. Her first break was in 1987 when she played MTV Remote Control.
